Fried Bread dumplings with Tarragon Champignons
It must go once again fast - after a renovation weekend (yes, still!) it has become late and there is leftover utilization.
In the fridge are still a few cooked bread dumplings and a few mushrooms. Everything is cut into slices, and fried in proper fat in the pan. To the mushrooms comes some tarragon, otherwise only pepper and salt.
While the dumpling slices are crisping up and the mushrooms are cooking, I quickly go to the garden to pick some lettuce and a few radishes. The latter are quickly shaved and given a fig mustard olive oil vinaigrette. The lettuce has already grown well, the leaves are large and too bad for me to chop. So they end up decoratively on the plate. I spread a little cream cheese on each of the dumplings and top each with a teaspoon of mushrooms.
Quick and tasty!
